Celebrating Women’s History Month at the Pepperdine Libraries

In celebration of Women’s History Month this year, Pepperdine University Libraries joined libraries, museums, and archives around the world in two social media challenges to to honor the accomplished women of Pepperdine’s history.

The first was #ArchivesHerstory, a project started by US National Archives in celebration of the upcoming anniversary of the 19th Amendment . The second was #HerNaturalHistory, a part of the Biodiversity Heritage Library’s social media campaign to help to spread awareness and information about women working in the sciences. 

The result was a post every Friday that showcased photos from Pepperdine’s Special Collections and Archives that showcased women from Pepperdine’s past working in the sciences.
