Pepperdine University Libraries now participate in the journal article delivery service RapidILL for the borrowing and lending of journal articles. RapidILL considerably reduces the time it takes to obtain journal articles through interlibrary loan. Pepperdine participates in RapidILL as a member of SCELC (Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium), as well as a member of two additional lending groups that include libraries in California, United States, Canada, Australia, and China. Rapid participants agree to provide articles within a 24 hour turnaround time (Monday-Friday).
Articles are requested via ILLiad Interlibrary Loan and delivered electronically to users’ ILLiad accounts, the same way that journal articles are currently requested. The only noticeable change in requesting articles via Interlibrary Loan is that many articles will arrive even faster!
You can access your ILLiad Interlibrary Loan account at https://lib.pepperdine.edu/login?url=http://pepperdine.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/PAY/illiad.dll
Articles delivered through RapidILL, like all other Interlibrary Borrowing Services, are free to Pepperdine Students, Faculty, and Staff.
